What you´ll do
- Perform data analysis, interpret results, and provide actionable recommendations to support formulation and process improvements.
- Design and execute laboratory experiments and analytical testing, following defined project objectives and technical direction.
- Execute project tasks and workstreams with strong ownership, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery aligned with project goals.
- Prepare technical reports and clearly communicate experimental results to internal stakeholders.
- Support technical problem-solving by analyzing data, identifying root causes, and proposing practical solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans, evaluate results, and recommend formulation or process adjustments based on data.
- Manage daily laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and consumable procurement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, PPE requirements, and 6S practices, contributing to a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution and timelines, ensuring alignment with overall project direction.
- Leverage and support digital tools and data systems to improve lab efficiency and data integrity.
What makes you a good fit
- Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field, with at least 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Practical experience in adhesive formulation or polymer formulation is preferred. Familiarity with epoxy, acrylate, or thermosetting systems is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience in formulation mixing and laboratory experiments is required. Familiarity with mixing equipment such as high-speed mixers, planetary mixers, or similar is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret experimental data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and execute work independently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in laboratory management practices, including 6S implementation and equipment maintenance, is preferred.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for technical communication.
