You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative team within the Site Process Engineering department, where innovation and continuous improvement are at the core of our operations. As automation and digitalization continue to shape the global manufacturing industry, Henkel is seeking candidates with basic understanding of programming languages, the ability to write simple code, and familiarity with MES and BMS system architectures. While experience in digitalization and automation is not mandatory, it is highly preferred. 

What you´ll do

  • Support the transfer of new or existing products between SBU and sites, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance
  • Conduct process capability studies and validation trials to ensure smooth ramp-up; Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Production to align on specifications and timelines
  • Respond to process deviations and equipment issues in real time; Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective actions
  • Work closely with Production and Quality teams to resolve recurring problems
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement; Implement process changes to improve yield, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with production operators to ensure process stability; Participate in cross-departmental improvement or change projects
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders including Production, Quality Assurance, and R&D; Support trials and validations for new materials or equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of process changes, trials, and performance metrics; Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal teams
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and initiate engineering-driven digital system enhancement projects; Support Ensure consistent and effective use of digital systems

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.; Relevant certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Process Safety, or Quality Systems are advantageous
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role; Hands-on experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and data analysis
  • Familiarity with statistical tools (e.g., Minitab) and process control systems (e.g., PLC) is preferred, along with experience in six sigma projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset; Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across departments
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; Comfortable working on the shop floor and engaging with operators and technicians
  • Preferably with basic understanding of programming languages to write simple code and an understanding of MES and BMS system architectures
